 Reconnecting

Me and my hubby has hit a rough spot in our relationship ......we haven't spent much time together .....even when were home ....He's in one room and I'm on another....we talk but really about nothing ......he was laying around the house ......we had just got our first snow and its was sunny, and the snow started to melt so I got dressed and decided to go to the go outside and enjoy some of the day ......as I was headed outside with a blanket drape across my arm, I heard him ask where I'm going.........told him I needed some air......I was sitting on this log when I felt his presence behind me....we sat down beside me ........what's on your mind ......just chilling was my response ....He sat there a min .....next think I know he told me to come close ........he kiss my forehead .....I want time with my wife ......I sigh......we need to talk ....so we talk for hours ......before we had our conversation, I was thinking we no longer have anything in common, but we just needed to reconnect

Update: after talking for an hour, we decided to take a walk holding hands and kissing.....we didn't make love that night .....we just held each other all night and that was the sexiest thang ever

 A ROOFTOP ROMANCE

Remember I told you that we me and the hubby renovate houses in an earlier blog ....they call and told me the renovation was done on the new rooftop loft we just brought ......I went to check it out loft it was nice ......I decided to do something nice and set up a little romantic spot for me and the hubby before we put it on the market......I started doing sexy poses, but I look crazy .....then my phone rang .....when I answer it ....it was my hubby telling me he running late cause he was stuck in traffic .....told him to take his time ....I grab the wine bottle I brought and open it ......and poor myself a glass of wine ......turn on the soft music and waited on my man

Update: He finally got there an hour later ....he came in and smile at me ....he told me and said you look nice and i smile ......grabbing my ass i like that dress

Depression 

I was at home standing by my bay window when this feeling washed over me ......I felt like crying all of a sudden ....feel like getting in bed and never getting out of it ..I turn on the radio and slow jam came on ....I cried through the whole song....this feeling I couldn't shake ......I wonder if I died today would I be miss.....felt like my life had no purpose ......and I couldn't shake this feeling ......you ask how do a person that have everything feel this way ....it's not about physical things though it's about depression ......sometime I can shake that feeling and sometimes it hits me harder than normal .......the thing about depression it does hit every day it hit all of a sudden ....I know some people take medication to help the depression I don't think I'm ready for that yet....I just try to remind myself of all the thing that I'm bless with 

Update: I haven't been a episode of depression lately ......not to say it won't come back but I remind myself everyday how thankful I am to be alive

Me and the husband has recently start flipping house ......now i didnt realize how hard it is to flip a house we did so good with the first house my hubby brought a couple of more ....He send me the address I went to check it out ....when the crew we hired was there and ready to start working ....thinking we was starting today and I was going to help ....I thought Mr. Manno lost his mind  .....did he look at my outfit I too cute to get dirty....My husband called me and I fuss about it getting dirty .......needless to say I told them we would start a week later .....I was just looking at the space trying to figure out how I wanted to designed the space

My Old Block 

I decided to go back to DC.......I visited my old block ......do you know my aunt still live in the same place and in the same neighborhood ......so I decided to go visit ....I couldn't believe they still have graffiti on the building after all these years ....going in my aunt house she still had some of the same furniture with the same plastic on it laughing  .....I went into my cousin room and spotted the boom box we to play loud ..my aunt come in we reminisce about old times .. thinking back on all those good memories ...I ask my aunt if I could have that boom box .... looking inside the player and it still had a cassette tape in it .... I grab it and take it with me outside and push play on the boom box ... some of the old hits start coming though the speaker I laugh when one of the guys start dancing to the music it was so contagious, I started dancing with him

 My Fall/Spring Day

I call my friend and find out that she was under weather, so I decided to go visit her .....I put on a sweater but when I went outside it was nice as hell ....so I went upstairs look through my closet and ran across this outfit I brought at Peperoncino .....this probably going to be the last day I can rock this .......so I put it on .....went outside enjoying the warm with a slight cool breeze ......she just live down the street I could have walk but I decided to ride my bike .......Once I got there, she didn't want to open the door cause she found out she had covid ......I just ordered her some soup on my uber eats and told her to open the door when it gets there ......
